Potential Medical Applications Of Astronomical Research
For more than 30 years, Dr. David Naylor has been developing a world-class research program at the University of Lethbridge in the design, construction and use of Fourier transform spectrometers in astronomical research.
These instruments are among the most sensitive in existence and are used by NASA, ESA and CSA in their space missions. Dr. Naylor is investigating the technology’s potentially significant applications in medicine.
Dr. Naylor has also supervised over 150 undergraduate and 20 graduate students during his career.
