During his eight years at the University of Alberta Dr. Bernard Thebaud has made important contributions and advancements to the area of neonatal research. His discoveries about prenatal lung development allow caregivers to better respond to treatments after birth and improve outcome of treatment for babies with pulmonary hypertension.
Dr. Thebaud’s stem cell-based research represents novel, groundbreaking solutions to curing or improving the quality of life for patients suffering from chronic lung diseases.
Dr. Thebaud has demonstrated dedication to mentoring and training future scientists.
