Community Leadership in Mental Health Advocacy
Canadian Armed Forces veteran Mr. Phool founded the not-for-profit Infinity Safety Awareness in 2019 to confront taboo issues in Edmonton’s South Asian community and support underserved residents. He leads a weekly food-hamper program at Garneau School for 100+ people and mobilizes volunteers and businesses. The group runs panels, podcasts, and a Celebration of Inclusion on mental health, LGBTQ2S+, racism, fostering/adoption, violence with experts (Alberta Psych Assoc., RCMP, EPS). Honours: QEII Platinum Jubilee (2022), Alberta Newcomer (2023), PAA Community Service (2023), King Charles III Coronation (2025).
