Researcher Achieves International Acclaim For Work In Biochemistry
Dr. Robert Hodges is a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Alberta. His contributions have been substantial in several areas including peptide synthesis, HPLC methodology, calcium-binding proteins, muscle regulation and synthetic vaccine development. Dr. Hodges is considered an expert in the chemical synthesis of proteins and is recognized internationally for the calibre of his research in the area of peptide chemistry. He is a member of two of the National Centres of Excellence and plays a significant role in industry, promoting technology transfer and economic development in Canada.
