Publication Brings Attention To Science Illiteracy
As a communications officer at Mount Royal College, Rae Haaland writes for Imprint, a magazine published bi-monthly by the College. Her story entitled Another Science Story was written to draw public attention to the current climate of science illiteracy among the Canadian public and the attempts of Alberta educational and science institutions to alleviate the problem. To date, the story has received much favorable comment from individuals and organizations, including those working in the scientific community.
