U Of A Professor Uses Chemistry Expertise To Solve Practical Problems
Dr. Chuang, a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta, has applied his expertise in catalysis chemistry and chemical engineering to help solve practical problems for both people and industry throughout the World. Several of his many patents are being successfully licensed and used in industrial applications.
Dr. Chuang is considered one of the world’s experts on heavy water production processes. He is also internationally recognized for his work in environmental catalysis – work that has resulted in a patented process which assists pulp and paper mills reduce the environmental impact of their effluents.
