A Tier-1 Canada Research Chair in Energy Systems Assessment (former NSERC Industrial Research Chair), he directs the Centre for Hydrogen Innovation and is Deputy Director of Future Energy Systems ($75M). Recognized by Reuters among top climate scientists, he advised governments, shaped Alberta’s Hydrogen Roadmap, with 237+ papers & 11,000+ citations; Fellow of CAE & EIC. Honours include APEGA’s 2020 Research Excellence Award and CSBE Fellow.
