Next-Gen RIC: Innovating Stroke and Dementia Care
Dr. Aravind Ganesh is a vascular and cognitive neurologist advancing stroke and dementia care. A Rhodes Scholar (DPhil, Oxford), he earned his MD and completed residency at UCalgary, followed by a CIHR/Alberta Innovates stroke-cognitive fellowship. A Fellow of the Canadian Stroke Consortium, he helps write best-practice guidelines. His lab develops AI-enabled tools, including a remote ischemic-conditioning device in clinical trials via SnapDx. He also leads Let’s Get Proof and holds New Investigator awards (Heart & Stroke, Alzheimer Society), Henry J.M. Barnett Scholarship and Brain Canada Future Leaders award.
